It definitely consumes battery. If you don't use your car for 7 to 10 days, the battery goes down. In the product page, they've actually mentioned to turn on the car once in a few days, so that the battery charges.

The very first thing is you need to visit motorola service centre.. they'll either replace the charger or mobile, as it's still in warranty

I've noticed that the peek display in settings is no longer available. Also, the overnight battery drain is 6 to 7% earlier it was ~ 3%. Another problem - battery optimisation looks to be aggressive! Gmail & WhatsApp like apps also won't sync in the background properly at times if u keep phone unused for hours. Be it Android 13 or 14, Moto edge 40 is not the best in any way!!!

@theworld2603 Go to settings, in the search bar - type , screen saver. You'll get in the search list.

Yes, they should have allowed us to exchange. It can be sold on Amazon exchange but with less value. And with flipkart cash my phone, we get 17k.

You can try factory reset once but before that check if any specific app is draining the battery and uninstall to observe.

If the phone restarts automatically & battery health is good, it's definitely a motherboard problem. But there are rare chances of the battery connector problem also. In some 2nd hand phones, they replace the battery & sell. Hope that's not the case with you. Please get it checked in LG service center or cashify service center

@@TechDevoteeIndia Unfortunately there's no any LG customer service centre in Lahore but as well as battery health is concerned it never drops in sudden or shows fake charging it charges gradually and drops gradually but what about if I update it's version right now it's running on Android 9. Will update version fix my problem or I had to go for hardware mechanic.?

@asifkarim-yb5qb It looks be UK motherboard wherein you don't get sw updates automatically. Lg g8x is actually running on Android 12 globally and with Dec 2022 security patch. Check if LG bridge app allows you to upgrade. But if you go to service center, just get only hardware checked/repaired... Don't update their software - it might be an unofficial version they install
